A Few Great Podcasts to Check Out...

The following are some of my favorite podcasts to listen to, as you will see they vary on subject matter.

In no particular order (of course):

  • StoryCorps: I love listening to these amazing stories/conversations of "everyday" people. The episodes are fairly short so they're easy to go through.  StoryCorps
  • Another Round: Heben and Tracy are an awesome pair. If you're curious about the world from a Black perspective this is your show. They also have pretty cool guests on their show including Hillary Clinton. Another Round
  • The Sales Evangelist: Donald Kelly is the host of this cool podcast about sales. His energy is contagious and entertaining. If you're looking to step your sales game up, this is a show for you. The Sales Evangelist
  • The Read: Kid Fury and Crissle are the truth. This show reminds you of hanging out with your cool ass friends. Speaking their minds is an understatement. They are in your face with their opinions on political/social issues as well pop culture. The Read
  • Being Boss: Emily and Kathleen are the dynamic business duo. If you're looking for good advice on how to start a business or manage your existing one, this podcast is for you. Being Boss
  • The Potter's Touch: I don't get to church as often as I should but when I am in the mood for a good word, T.D. Jakes never disappoints. The Potter's Touch
  • How Does She Do It: Tiffany has a pretty cool show. I love her advice and perspective on subjects we often think about. Listening to Tiffany is like having a conversation with your best girlfriend. How Does She Do It
  • The Unconventional Woman: Naturally I am going to plug myself. TUW is a show featuring myself having conversations with women who consider themselves to be unconventional. Think women meeting up for brunch or happy hour and the things we discuss once we're together. The Unconventional Woman
